The design goes all the way around.\u003cbr\u003eThe inside of the shell is hollowed out to help keep the price lower. \u003cbr\u003eThe turtle comes with the pendant only or with a 14kt Gold Filled 1.5mm. wide loose rope chain that is 18\" long.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe actual size of the turtle is 7\/8\"  long from nose to tail.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThis is made in 14kt Gold Vermeil.\u003cbr\u003e14kt Gold Vermeil is a heavy 14kt gold overlay layered onto a base of 925 sterling silver.
