Horned frogs, also known as Pacman frogs, are named for their wide mouths and horn-like projections above their eyes. These amphibians have an impressive appetite, often consuming prey almost as large as themselves, including insects, small mammals, and even other frogs. They are known for their sedentary lifestyle, spending much of their time buried in the substrate, waiting to ambush prey.
